We have provided static mixing solutions for the following industries:
  • chemical
  • water treatment
  • oil production and refining
  • resin blending

Our specialty is the manufacture of custom mixers.  Examples of applications in which we will be the best option are:

High pressure: We are accustomed to building chemical process equipment which requires high pressure flanges (i.e. Class 1500) using RTJ groove gaskets or even metal to metal (no gasket) joints.

High alloy: Nickel alloys, duplex stainless steel, 317L, and most commonly encountered alloys are easily accommodated.

Plastic lined housings or plastic elements: TFE lined housings are easily incorporated into our designs.  The elements with these mixers can be either metallic or a variety of plastics.  We can even injection mold a mixer specifically for your application from high density polyethylene or a variety of other plastics.

Rush deliver: Because we are accustomed to providing personalized service, rush deliveries are an option that we can offer.

Demanding piping specifications: We have been able to help consulting engineering companies building chemical plants for major chemical or oil companies that required that the housing comply with their customers specification for process piping.  We can easily accommodate requirements such as full radiography to any piping code, welding procedure and welder qualifications, hydrotest, ASME calculations and ASME Code Stamp, CE Stamp, CRN (Canada), stress relief, or cleaned for oxygen service to name a few.

Removable and cleanable elements: A favorite success story involves a customer who mixes tiny amounts of a precipitating agent (1 cc per minute to a 5 gpm carrier stream).  Our mixers were so effective that they allowed the precipitation reaction to be completed before the flow stream reached the filter unit.  This had not happened before, and the effect was that their downstream filters stopped becoming plugged due to precipitate forming on the surfaces of the filters.  The mixing elements which we built for them were extra tough so that when the mixers did need to be cleaned they would survive the chipping and high pressure washing required.  These elements are also replaceble so that when they do occaisionally break from the rough service they endure, the static mixing elements can be replaced and the housing can be reused.  This is economical and convenient.  The customer continues to remove and clean these same elements over and over.  The high effectiveness of these elements combined with the ease of cleaning resulted in large savings for this customer.
